Every landscape begins with understanding the land it will grow in.
A landscape is shaped by both living elements and built structure. Plants bring life and seasonal change, while carefully constructed features provide the framework that allows the landscape to function.
Retaining walls shape the land and manage changes in elevation. Patios and pathways – often built with stone or pavers – create places to gather and move through the garden. Drainage and irrigation systems guide water through the landscape, while fountains and water features introduce movement and sound that bring outdoor spaces to life.
When these elements are integrated thoughtfully with planting, the landscape feels unified rather than divided between garden and construction.

Bertilacchi Landscape is a team of skilled craftsmen guided by horticultural knowledge and decades of hands-on experience working throughout the Central Coast.
Each member of the team brings a different background and perspective to the work — from years spent shaping stone and building structure into the land to experience caring for plants at our local nurseries and understanding how landscapes mature over time. That shared knowledge allows every project to benefit from a broader understanding of how landscapes are built and how they grow.
Being part of this community means our work doesn’t end when a project is finished. It’s common to run into clients later at the local hardware store or nursery, where conversations begin again with a handshake and a friendly hello.
Many of us are raising our families here, and we approach every property with the same care and respect we would give our own. Through the landscapes we build and care for, we hope to contribute to a greener and more sustainable Central Coast for the generations who will live here after us.
